Germaine was huge in the 60s and her impact spread a lot further than the usual TV/sports stars, especially if you're talking worldwide. If you asked a bunch of people who were 40+, she'd be one of the ones they actually knew.

She's far more famous than some of the others mentioned - like Stephen Baldwin who's only well known for a tiny role in the Usual Suspects and being on a billion reality shows.

But, there's your problem highlighted in bold. A bunch of people 40+ isn't BB's target audience.
