Hit US TV Show The Vampire Diaries has been pulled from ITV2's listings due to a breach of contract.
It was due to premiere on the 28 February, but in a joint press conference today star Ian Somerhalder and ITV announced the termination of the contract. It is currently unknown what the breach of contract consisted of. Season 3 of the show began airing in September in the US, on The CW.
