Hmm I watched that clip on bots and thought right away that it was a bad move on Michaels part, I think he should have went to maybe Romeo or Gareth? I think if/when Natalie informs Denise of what he said she won't do it to be kind to Michael she will do in a nasty way to cause some more drama, I could be wrong though
