I really don't think there is a justifying argument for him. The only nice thing Michael has done in the whole series was what happened with Natasha. That was obviously down to Natasha as well.

It's to be expected really from someone who's only real claim to fame is gloryfying violence and torture and cutting of someone's ear.

It was a film, he didn't actually really cut off someones ear He also helped free a whale so that cancels the ear thing out
