I don't know how anyone can defend what he said... No matter what Denise has, or has not done, does not mean she deserves that. People may think something, and people may say it is 'being truthful', but what really shows a persons character is how they conduct themselves. He could have said his feeling in a much more appropriate way than what he did, and my opinion of him went WAY down after that. Denise handled it extremely well, and I don't know if I could have handled it as well.

Yes, she has annoyed him but I don't think she has ever tried to annoy him, or make him angry intentionally... Actually, I think quite the opposite... I think she has been too desperate to be friends with him, is that always a bad thing? No, I don't think it is... I just don't think his personality suits her way. Even Natalie came out and said that he blows hot and cold... when people do that, I find it extremely hard to know where I stand, and when certain things are appropriate and when they are not. Heck, my OH blows hot and cold... sometimes I can make a joke and get a laugh, other times I can make a similar joke and he is a right crabby b******!

I didn't particularly like him before he said that, but I can't stand him now! Before, the only time he was marginally entertaining is when he is with Denise! He barely does anything else, except moan and groan and sleep!

The fact that two weeks in a row, he has received a high number of nominations (I think 6 this week, and a similar number last week)... and she has only received nominations from him... should say what the other housemates opinions are.

I won't even start on the drink issue, because I don't like alcohol. I think something that can change a person so drastically, and make them do things that they never normally would, should be controlled strictly... If drugs are illegal, then IMO so should alcohol... but, that is a different issue entirely! lol. Oh, I just want to add that when I turned 18, I drank A LOT... and I thankfully, don't become a nasty/annoying etc person when drunk... but I don't like the feeling of being drunk, of not being in control and sometimes not remembering the night before, so now I am tee total... and I am only 22! LOL, the number of times I have been called a freak because of that... just shows the unfortunate culture we live in... anyway, I digress... Like I said, another issue entirely.

I do think Denise should stay away from drink, but I think a high proportion of drinkers become like her when they drink, and very few actually stay away from it (my comments and opinions are based of the people I know, and see around).
