I cba with writing stuff so let's just get the rules busted out.

RULES
- No biting
- No petting
- No bombing
- No cheating. Srsly. If I catch one person cheating - that means asking anyone outside of your team for help - the whole game's off.
- You have 48 HOURS from this post to answer as many of the questions as possible.
- You must PM me your final list of answers before this deadline. It doesn't matter who sends the PM, as long as it's someone on your team.

Okay, those are the general rules. Now for the round-based rules.

Round One - Song Clips!
- In the following YouTube video are the intros to 50 popular songs from a variety of genres and ages.
- To get a point in the quiz you must simply identify BOTH the recording artist, and the song title.
- It doesn't matter which order you identify the songs in.
- Please ignore the video's screenshot: you have 48 hours to identify the songs, not one.

Some other discrepancies:

- Almost every team has provided the answer "Close to You" by the Carpenters for the song at 1:00-1:05. This is an incorrect answer - the correct answer was out in the last 5 years.
- Several teams have also provided the answer "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds for the song at 3:25-3:30. This is an incorrect answer - the correct answer DOES sample this song, though.

With regards to the Simple minds track - the sample used, only uses Simple Minds music, there is no alternative beat over it, so to say it's wrong is incorrect.

But if 2 songs are indistinguishable from each other, then this isn't a mind reading quiz. I think we as a team have that one now, but the scenario is no different to your post a little higher up the page, where you acknowledge that there may be 2 correct answers.

the intro to "Don't You (Forget About Me)" sounds absolutely nothing like the intro to the song at 3:25, though, and I've already said it's wrong, and even gone so far as to give you a clue that it's a sample of that song, so putting it now would be foolish.

The song I thought was "DYFAM" wasn't at that time, though. Which means, I'm even more ****ed up than I thought I was.

Ignore my post above, now I've got to work out what song is the one I'm thinking of.
