None.

Do you know what that proves about the quality of their music and affect on pop culture and music that followed them?

Nothing.

If you start measuring artists by their success with corporations then you even lose the essence of what hip-hop is.

Schools out, next time, bring your books.
If you don't understand what it means going from a council estate in South London to being recognised by these 3 huge events then there really is no point in me trying to explain it. This is a guy who was even forgotten in the Underground scene for a good 3 years or so.

Don't even get me wrong, Tinie is far from my fave artist. I would much rathar listen to **** like Meridian Family or Old school Wiley & Dizzee before they sold out and made the chart stuff, but sadly we live in a country where unless you do that you will not be recognised so I at least give them props for doing what they have to do to make their life better and doing it well. I would always prefer people like this to chart higher than the Lady Gaga's etc.

Like I made a thread already. This man charted top 40 with a freestyle released off his own back on his own label. It's possible if you make the most of the Internet like he does, but not everyone is as intelligent about the whole music scene as he is. They see the quick dollar and take it.

Ultimate props to JME.

Don't belittle me with the last line. I know what the essence of Rap & Hip Hop is. We just don't live in a place where we will see that real **** realistically chart, so I'll discuss the people who do on a Big Brother forum.

lol at Roy being the guy in the middle
