Apparently. Just came up in red on the BBC News website that the FA have confirmed it.

Jessica Meuse was robbed.

Harry Redknapp would be a good England Manager,I just hope Spurs get a good replacement in if he leaves.

Only man for the job for me is Martin O'Neil, but it ain't gonna happen!
I expect Stuart Pearce will be caretaker Manager until the summer then Redknapp will take over. |

No loss at all is Fabio going as far as I am concerned, he has really done nothing for his massive wages overall.
I do think Redknapp would be a good England Manager although I am not that keen on him and dislike totally his atrocious treatment of Roman Pavlyuchenko while at Tottenham. Having said that,if someone is going to have a fair chance of bringing more recognised success for England then Redknapp is a man likely to do so I would say. |

Apparently Capello said Terry shouldn't have the captaincy removed before the court had reached a verdict, which I agree with really. I think it's a shame, he had the best win record of any English manager, although he wasn't in charge that long I suppose

He had a phenominal record apart from the tournament, I don't get the massive hate for his reign, he just was naive at the world cup
Stuart Pearce has been put in charge as a caretaker. AWFUL MANAGER |

Not surprised considering recent events and his wages were a joke too.
Too much pressure with that job and England are always overrated, who would want to manage them knobs of players? Redknapp might change his mind about wanting to do it now he was found innocent yesterday at his trial but Guus Hiddink is interested. Stuart Pearce in temporary charge now...

His record is dire, he may have won some good matches but we got to the quarter finals of the World cup in 2002 and 2006, in 2010 under him we only got to the second round.
I doubt under him that Euro 2012 would have brought success for England either, how could you have Terry as Captain in a side with all that is hanging over him and also the possiblity of Rio Ferdinand playing. Yes, innocent until proven guilty is the right way, but John Terry appears to be a loose cannon, the Wayne Bridge issue and now his current problem. In my view the court case on this matter should have been dealt with before Euro 2012,not deferred until after it,however having said that Terry seems to be a player who cannot control himself and that's not a good recommendation for being England Captain. |

I was confident under him for the euro's, he has already rectified his WC mistakes in some matches,
but now we're ****ed with Pearce then Harry coming just in time for the Euro's with no training with the team under his belt Last edited by King Gizzard; 09-02-2012 at 04:50 AM. |

would rather go into a Major tournament with little hope i think in 2006 and 2010 there was to much pressure on the team to perform, everyone had high hopes for us maybe this time around though with all that's being going on the pressure might be of a little and we can actually enjoy playing football rather then Panic in every area of the field

That's doing worse, not doing better in a massive International tournament. If you do really great work as to the presentation and buld up games but then fail to have anything to show at the end of it then that constitutes failure and in life there are no prizes for failure in sport. He would have likely kept John Terry close and likely even played him in Euro 2012,the players knowing that as far as Capello was concerned,Terry was his preferred Captain, that could have had further problems within the team so I doubt England would have done any better than in the World cup and not come out on top. John Terry has been charged with racial abuse, yes, he is innocent until proven guilty of course but there are other players in the England team who need to be protected too just in case he is not innocent of the charge. Someone ordinary in most work, charged with any criminal offence, whether innocent or not, would at the very least be suspended from their work until the case was heard, maybe even dismissed altogether if it was 'their' work related matter. Capello's support for Terry, shows he is a loyal man to those he likes but in the big picture, he was putting one man above the whole team, thereby that is bad management, extremely misguided and likely detrimental to team morale. I do see where you are coming from and 66% of wins under him does seem impressive, sadly most of the other 34% negative results are in actual tournaments of major competitions. As anywhere it's the really big matches/finals and their results which determine success or not. Last edited by joeysteele; 09-02-2012 at 10:09 AM. |
