We inform you when somebody gets banned. We can't inform you of every single warning/infraction that gets handed out because as Nate says, we have lives and we come on TiBB for fun as well, it's not all about being a MOD

yeah there're others I occasionally find annoying but I think they're good moderators (HAI BEN <3) and good members in general so I didn't vote for them the Towers look really complicated and tbh I'd rather manage a JLS concert than Pyramid* and Jack_'s arguments

E.g. If we knew when, where and what a member has been infracted for then we can learn from others mistakes and know what is deemed acceptable and unacceptable.

I am not going to tell the forum every time I delete a post, merge a thread, move a thread, move posts, warn a member, infract a member, ban a spam bot, edit a post, help a member etc. I'd be stuck on TiBB all day without doing anything else.

Besides half of the stuff we do doesn't involve everyone, only the members involved. Some of you are just nosey.

Yes well unless you inform people of more you really cannot complain that we don't appreciate what you do. We cannot appreciate something that we don't know has happened.

I forgot to mention that we have to deal with the aftermath from some of you baiting members. That can be very draining sometimes, but you lot don't have to deal with that part of it.

None of the Mods really need to go. Maybe it's because I haven't been here long enough, but I dunno why some people have certain grudges towards particular ones

I'm not particularly interested in what mods do behind the scenes; that's part of the role of a mod - and that comes with the territory.

I've voted purely on the way some of the mods interract with other forum members: and offer up posts that they would infract or ban others for.

Prime example is the Jesus H Christ's current signature - and I know that's hardly uncommon a type of post from (one or two) mods whenver they feel like it.

I've seen some (thankfully not all and not the majority) of mods posting very similar type vicious nasty comments on the forum that ordinary fms simply would not get away with, so it's all about the interactions that the fms do see that I've based my votes on - not what goes on behind the scenes.

I agree with this. None of the mod team needs to go (well except the inactive ones). We all contribute to the team in our own way, and most decisions on here are decided by the whole team not just the one mod.

Members will hold grudges against mods they have run-ins with. We are all used to that by now and learn to deal with it.

That is life though isn't it? One bases opinions on what they are told, if we aren't told the full story we cannot form opinions which you will agree with. I don't mean to say we should be told the whole story, I am saying you should't complain about it.
I believe all the mods do a good job on this site. But some do things which I find hypocritical and unjust.

More important than mods though is that the Rules List should be updated often in order to make it clear what is unacceptable. Examples in there would not go a miss anyway.

If one reports a mod it should go straight to admin. That would help the system.

Admin do see every report that gets reported.
