I'm not attacking Moore here, as he was supposed to have been an awesome defender, but it's nearly impossible to compare players across generations/positions.

He might have meant the best player he has ever played against

I think you can sort of compare players from different positions and generations, you can still assess how important they were and how big a role they each played in their team anyway, and I agree about Bobby as well
