Absolutely. And part of the attraction is that little edge in knowing your doing something you really shouldn't be doing when rolling a spliff....... it add to the allure, to the fun of it all.

It will as I said really help those who have stopped not to be tempted, as I don't think the urge ever really goes away....Not compleatly, as you can associate smoking with good times.

Total hypocrisy from a far more interfering Govt than the last one even was now. I don't smoke,never have, never will, I however think this is pathetic.

Should people stop smoking or cut down bigtime then the Govt would be in panic at the lost massive income it gets from cigarettes and tobacco.
Watching the staff having to slide these panels backwards and forwards with a queue of something like 20+ people waiting to be served is something I wouldn't expect to see in Stores supposedly open for business.

Bonkers, is the only appropriate word for this ruling by this now fast becoming totally incompetent/too interfering coalition Govt.

I am also a none smoker and would love to see the end of people being ridiculous by impersonating a walking chimny pot and potentially slowly killing themselves and others.

However I agree governments of all shades not just this mad coalition mob aproach to smoking is as you say "bonkers" and hypocritical.

Hiding them behind closed doors and then having in huge letters the name of the product behind those closed doors is hardly hiding them from view. bonkers bonkers and bonkers again. Can't say it too many times.

If smoking is so dangerous (and it is) (yet its legal) Then the product as a whole should be banned from being sold and manufactured.......Addicts should get it on prescription only while being treated for the addiction.

Its claimed the government would lose out on tax revenue. Yea but look what they would save on the health service and people would still spend their mony on other taxable items along with more money being used to buy goods and encourage growth instead of money being burned on smoking cancer sticks.

As a nation I think we would be better off if smoking was no more in many more ways than one.

Same with drug takers sqandering money on false personality creating chemistry and in turn supporting terrorists and criminals in their evil activities.....

Oh I noticed this the other day, I just went to Tesco late so I assumed they were closing up

It does seem to nullify the amount of daftly exaggerated health warnings they put on the packet Hiding them completely is just going to heighten the taboo about them, and if there's one thing teens love doing it's shattering taboos
