Someone made a good point on The Guardian article, in that someone can be imprisoned for making some racist, throw-away remarks on Twitter, yet large scale homophobic campaigns like this can not only get as far as this one has, but also go unpunished (I'm assuming anyway).

But my favourite comment of all:
