Hardly. It's been a fairly active off season. Maybe not compared to previous off seasons, but it's doing just fine.

I have to agree with Patrick - overall, it's become quieter and quieter as every month passes, with (it seems) less and less individual posters posting. It seems to be just the same people on line most of the time with a lot having drifted away.

It's only natural for there to be less posters the further away from the previous Big Brother we get, until the next one comes around. And it's been far from dead, plenty of things have been going on. I honestly don't think there's been a huge difference between the amount of posters at the start of this off season to now. All the regulars are still, well, regulars.

Really? You think it's been far from dead? It's seems to be less of a forum now, but more of a large chatroom & game site most of the time.

How are you able to compare over the years by way of comparison - I'll jump to the conclusion (which I shouldn't do, and I apologise for doing the very thing that I don't really approve of doing), that you lurked before joining last year, to be able to compare to past years?

Often longer term posters reflect back on years before I joined and I'm not in a position to offer comment as I wasn't around then so I'm a wee bitty confused how you can make any comparison really?

I've seen a huge range of posters (whether I agreed with them or not, whether I liked them or not), not posting half as much - but ones that really kicked life into the place - posters who rarely post now: Zippy / Stu / InOne / Visage / Angus58 to name just a few names off the top of my head - that were very regular and whose names you rarely see crop up anymore.

I didn't make any comparison.

Out of Zippy, Stu, InOne, Visage and Angus58, Stu was the only person I'd consider a regular poster during off season in the time I've been here.

I've been on long lasting healthy forums far more dead than this. There have been like 20 odd different threads posted in in the last hour in the middle of a Monday. TiBB's doing fine. It'll be booming again when Big Brother comes back around.

if you didn't make a comparison then my apologies. My point remains intact though for the reasons that I gave earlier - that for example: the people I happened to mention did in fact post (outwith BB) far more a long time ago - but rarely do so now.
