It's not, but I do think that's a factor in why people are reacting this way. Jay made it all the way to the end with the "he's just a harmless boy, he don't mean nothing by it" excuse. BB made it obvious last time around that they didn't really care if the show ends up going Springer as long as it gets people voting.

If Jay had been handled instead of coddled last time, there might be more trust that they'd step in if Conor crosses the line again, instead of the more likely situation that they'll let it play out and decide how to act based on a producer's meeting.

This is true and disheartning, I am still holding hope that they do something about Conor.
