Now come on Redway, we are friends and you'd respect me if I'd posted this thread as I would if you had, yes? Jords may not be a mod but his request and points about Becky are his opinion to offer and for us to respect. He and I have very different views on Becky but we get by anyway. Don't be mad with me for saying this

I dont think Jords was telling anyone what to do,they were just asking quite nicely for the childish name calling to stop,imo if you are a fully functioning adult or indeed an intelligent teenager one should be able to put across their views without resorting to pointless silly names and for people with more than one brain cell it gets tedious,if people find it funny to jest in such a way that's fine how about doing it in PMs,then those of us who want to take the show seriously can get on with it,or maybe just all hire a school playground and you can all have fun at someone elses expense.now where's my skid lid

I could never be mad at you, Kate.

I know it's just his opinion and I respect that but he stated it as a fact, which is annoying. You don't have to tag on 'imo' to every post but maybe if he offered some insight into why he feels the way he does we could understand him better.

Can we stop the comments about how fat she is and thats she always eating? Its pretty shallow and theres no need for it BB is entertaining enough to discuss something else and not keep referring to her as a whale.

Adam is a big lad himself and its completely double standards to keep harking on about Becky.

1) Is it not shallow?
2) Is there nothing else interesting to talk about?
3) Is Adam also not fat?

But doesn't the fact that Adam is pretty popular on here show that most people wouldn't dislike Becky purely because of her size. A lot of people make shallow comments sure, I think we're probably all guilty of thinking quite superficially every now and then, but I'd like to think people wouldn't base a dislike of someone on size alone, there have been quite a few valid points made in here IMO about why it might be made out to be more of an issue with Becky than it is with Adam

There is another thread somewhere in which I was stating my views on Becky and Jords explained that he doesn't like people being judged just on their looks, weight, etc, which unfortunately happens a lot, too much, in the world today. I conceded his point and reinforced my own, which is my own reasons for not liking Becky and its not for her weight however, I'll not repeat them or we will be here all night

So hopefully that explains it better and I agree that it would be silly to have to put IMO after every post, we're hopefully sensible enough to take that as read

Anyway, let's focus on Conor and getting him out, and give Becky a rest, for now. Lol.

People dont understand how Becky can be so happy being overweight and therefore use this to take a disliking to her or begin to transfix that she must be fake thats why she gets frustrated when Deana probes her (who we should take note, does not probe Adam). In my opinion of course.

But regardless, its double standards to call somebody you like not a whale and somebody you dont like a whale if theyre both fat.

Edit: I can understand those who dont like Becky because shes a bit of an idiot btw or various other reasons, Im definitely not pro-Becky but I do like her and I feel sorry for the amount of abuse she has gotten. She seems a decent girl at heart.

To be fair, Adam is a bit overweight. Becky, on the other hand, is massively overweight. And all she does it eat & talk about food. They're two different situations, so they should be treated differently. Becky could loose 200lbs and she'd still be overweight. Adam could loose 30 and he'd back at a healthy weight.

If becky was concerned about her weight, and made it known, and didn't tuck into a chicken nug nug (with accompanying theme song) all the time, I bet people wouldn't say anything. It's because she doesn't care, why others dont either.
