Why do people struggle with the idea that some people like a particular housemate despite what they call the "pity vote". Most decent people can overlook other people's idiosyncrasies and see the person beneath. I know that seems to be a hard concept for some people to grapple with, but it's true.

Deana never got much sympathy because she handled the Connor situation with style. She acts like she's better than most people in the house because she is better than most people in the house. I'm surprised some people could think she's miserable, but I suppose if you put her against some of the desperate, attention-seeking, hysterical chavs in the house, then it might look like that.
