On topic though Caroline's behaviour pattern is much more consistent with a serial low self-esteem bully. First she hates on Victoria, then Chris, then Benedict and now Adam of all people. She is horrendously repressed and generally alleviates any discomfort by assassinating people's characters.

If she had a problem with Adam from the get-go or had not previously used similar slurrs on Chris there might be a case for racism. As I said though the over-arching pattern is one of general hatred. She has not singled him out because he is black but because he is the most risque male in the house. This grates on her sexually repressed little mind and she can't handle his dirty jokes.
