I just don't think the two things are comparable really but I see your point, like the way Caroline was mimicking Laurens voice for example, I think that would on a par with Marcus mimicking Sree. But I don't think Deana saying a Jamaican word is the same.

"Black people" is not a nationality just as polish people speak polish Germans speak, German do you get my drift? So black people from Ghana,Brazil, Haiti, Zambia, south Africa -I could go on- would not understand the phrase either. Black people do not all speak the same language, just as white people don't all speak the same language.

Bumbaclot is the phonetic spelling of someone with a strong Jamaican accent saying bum cloth.
A bumbaclot and a blaadclart are not one and the same thing........ you can do the phonetics.
When a person who ISN'T of Jamaican birth speaks often or continually with this accent they are known as a Ja FAKE can.
