Scott has done nothing wrong, he was right it is perfectly acceptable in other cultures to eat with your hands. It's just the fact he was giggling which made it seem like he was mocking...I don't believe he was.

Ive worked in work canteens ive seen Indians eat countless things with their hands including rice pudding !!
