The problem is that the comment is totally a joke any way you look at it if Luke S didn't really care about the money like he's repeatedly said (even in instances where he implied deana was a money-grubbing gold digger and he was a champion of morality). If Deana's innocent comments make Luke S THAT distressed about the money than he has either been fake before or is acting fake now for sympathy.

I believe Luke S has been fake...very fake. However we can truly see the effect that task had on him and he bitterly regrets not pushing that buzzer. I think it was because of the fake relationship with Ashleigh that made him hesitate.
Anyway EVERYONE can clearly see how gutted he is and however hypocritical he has made himself look...why would anyone want to kick a man when he is down...no matter how much you dislike them.
Deanas jokes are so insensitive and she knows how much she upset him when she was drunk....unyet there she goes making jokes about it again. Either she is thick..or its deliberate....and she isnt thick.
Lukes stressed because he is finding her comments hard to take without reacting...because its still raw. His comment was like 'touchee'.... and guess what...she did not like it....a taste of her own medicine.
