The problem is that the comment is totally a joke any way you look at it if Luke S didn't really care about the money like he's repeatedly said (even in instances where he implied deana was a money-grubbing gold digger and he was a champion of morality). If Deana's innocent comments make Luke S THAT distressed about the money than he has either been fake before or is acting fake now for sympathy.

Hmmm... think again because I don't have a favourite at all this year.

I liked (not favoured) Chris and Lydia then when they were booted out it took me a while but I started to warm to Lauren.

After she left I've liked nobody more than others in particular but I have definitely had those HM's I've disliked immensely with Becky leading and being #1 and *******igh being a very close contender.






P.S. I don't think it's any great revelation for anyone to realise that certain viewers favour some, or similar, personalities of HM's in each series over others.

Good Post...I think you have summed up the situation re Deana at the present time. She is trying to exact some kind of Revenge or Retribution on the remaining Insiders and thinks that it will endear her to the Public and make her character favourite to win.

But The public having invested their sympathies in Deana when she was getting a hard time in the house and are now probably a little confused as to why she thinks this current course of action is necessary. Also I think reacting to the Insiders (Luke S) now is disingenuous and fake, I mean why didn't she fight back at Conor ,Caroline and Becky a bit more instead of just sulking away in the garden. Her behaviour now is nasty and is fooling no one.

I thought she was a clever girl but now seems to be self destructing as we speak......!!!!

But at the end of the day my point was about the inside the house, not the fans. We saw all Aaron's bad points quite clearly but with Deana she had other stuff going on, so they most likely concentrated on that. Ch5 are particularly notorious for putting things together so they look different and fit with the story of the house they want to portray. They will often show a clip for like 10 seconds and then cut off just as they're about to burst into full convo about it.

Sure, you can never be 100% sure about anything. Based on the timing in the video and Luke S' body language and response, it sure seems to me that it is much more likely that he is laughing at what Conor is saying than at something completely unrelated. It is not like Conor said what he did quietly and it could have been missed. He sang it out loud.

Even if we go on the miniscule chance that Luke S was indeed laughing at something else, then he was still having a jolly good old time for a whole minute while Conor was sat there singing about raping and punching Deana in the face. As if it was a normal commonplace activity.

I believe Luke S has been fake...very fake. However we can truly see the effect that task had on him and he bitterly regrets not pushing that buzzer. I think it was because of the fake relationship with Ashleigh that made him hesitate.

What made him hesitate was that they failed to listen to BB say that it will only go up to 50k and if they fail to hit the button within the 60 second time frame the prize fund will remain at 100k and they would go back to the house with nothing. (Proof of this is in Conors youtube clip where he says something about wasn't going to miss walking out with 99k).

He was waiting for it to go further than 50k and when the 5 second countdown started he hit the button as he didn't want to lose out on gaining the money.

Yes, everyone can see how gutted he is but yet he continues to say that he made the right choice, and that he's not about the money etc etc. I just can't respect a person who does not own up to their mistakes. Nothing (other than the possibility of him being a cyborg) is stopping him from sitting down and having a chat with Deana and telling her how he feels. Deana is not Conor and will not tell Luke S off if he wants to talk to her. Luke S would rather pretend to sulk and mope instead hoping that playing the sympathy card will gain him more votes to win the other 50k.

No, the problem is YOU see her taunts as a joke and state it as if that is a non - debatable fact. If those scenes are the kind that make you laugh and which you find enjoyable, then that is fine. But not everyone has the kind of sense of humour that enjoys getting their jollies at someone else's expense -(including myself, many others here and obviously Luke S.) If someone isn't getting the joke and doesn't laugh along, then it is time to stop. It's that simple.

You've misinterpreted what I said. I was saying that it would be a joke if Luke S didn't really care about the money. However, it comes off as hostile because of the way that Luke S reacts. If Luke S had instead ran up to Deana and tickled her or something while laughing, nobody would ever make such a fuss. And based on what Luke S' repeatedly says about not caring about money, he should not be reacting in this manner to what would otherwise be a benign comment.

Why should he? It's none of her business how he feels, before, during or after the money debacle. SHE has made it her business, it doesn't mean he has to pander to her. She made her 'joke' at a time when he must have been feeling raw and embarrassed at what they had all seen and is trying to justify himself to make himself feel better. That is normal enough. It was cruel to taunt him at that point and nothing you can say will make me think it was hilarious, amusing, whatever.
And seeing he didn't think it was funny the first time, and she keeps on and on and on it does come off as hostile.

2: In front of the eyes of the housemates and the public, Luke S cries after he realizes that his greed has gotten the better of him and he has pressed the button too late.
3: Luke S comes out of the white room visibly upset and then after a while gets back on his high horse and says that he didn't press the button on purpose and that he doesn't care about the money and again he is morally superior.
4: Deana knocks him off his high horse, partly in retaliation for earlier comments and partly because Luke S is being fake as all hell and he comes crashing down hard. Deana feels bad for doing this and apologizes to him the next morning.
5: Deana focuses on the positive side of the white room task (for Luke S) and calls him Charlie with the golden ticket. Luke S decides to react to this with hostility as he's realized sympathy will get him more votes.

She already knows her comments are bothering him (unless she is totally stupid). What normal people would usually do is stop when that becomes obvious. His 'I can't wait to nonimate you' is a good clue if she was still oblivious at that point to his distress, yet even after that she goes on and on.

Why do you put the onus to stop something on the victim? Deana is a grown woman, she was the instigator, she is the one doing wrong. The onus is on HER to stop. Unbelievable. Luke A pointed out that what she did was wrong after the first time and got her to apologize but she still didn't stop.

The money argument was one of many that all the HM's have had over the season. Many of the HM's have tried to make themselves look good at the expense of others . None of the others have jumped on the opportunity to be vengeful and cruel (apart from Conor). Deana has called people game players herself and tried to sway others by talking about nominations and getting others punished.
Deana is not a saint, and everyone else a sinner - though that is how she seems to see herself as she likes to take peoples weaknesses and 'show them for what they are'. *shudder*
4.Deana did NOT feel bad for doing it. Even when Luke A rebuked her she didn't see where she was wrong - it was only after he kept on at her that she apologized, which was obviously insincere as she turns around and does it again and again.
