I find this statement interesting.
Evil personified is someone, or thing, an archetypal presence if you will, that brings distress or calamity. Sin, wickedness, hostility, hatred, violence are also part of its make up.
A very strong statement about a girl who has strong religious beliefs and who hasn't really shown much in the way of aggression. A bit of spite maybe, but not much else.
