When people accuse Luke A of being bitchy it makes me laugh. They've all bitched - every single one of them. I like Luke A. For all he's been through, he is one of the most grounded, well-mannered, clear-thinking housemates in there.

I am tired of this "all that he has been through" None of us know what the HMs have been through in their lives. For all we know some could have experienced terrible traumas that they don't wish to harp on about in order to win public sympathy.

Going through the transition from female to male is not the worst thing in the world that can happen to a person, I know many people personally who have gone through much worse and don't whine on about it at every given opportunity.

hmm.....so we should tolerate what he went through because you think its not the worst that can happen to a person? is there a measure of what kind of prejudice is worst?
and how can you say certain things is not as bad as going through another thing, for luke A its probably the worst thing, because its part of who he is and will carry it forever.

I'm sure you're not alone in "personally knowing people" who have been through stuff. I'm sure everyone on this forum has both been through traumas of some kind and know people who have. However, just because you don't like Luke A, it doesn't give you leave to trivialise his past because you know someone who may have been through something bad. Furthermore, I have never once heard Luke A use his past as an excuse for anything, and I most certainly have never heard him "whine" about it.
