Deana initially cozied up to the Outsiders because she had a fight with Shievonne. Her main friends in the house were Shiv, Caroline and Sara. The first thing Deana did when she started getting near the Outsiders was try to ostracize Lauren.

There was never any reason for Adam and Luke A to trust her, and taking her in put a bigger target on their backs. If they'd left her to float, there was always the chance that the Insiders would've splintered, because the only thing that united then was the Deana hate. As long as Deana was associated with Adam and Luke A, the Insiders had a 2nd name to nominate without looking to the people in their own group who irritated them.

Once everyone is out of the house and has a chance to see everything going on that they didn't know about, I don't think Adam or Luke A could be blamed for not wanting much to do with her.
