Surely if Channel 5 have any sense AT ALL they'll stop throwing away their budget on people like Fat Sonia and people who shagged an unknown footballer - and instead save it for Big Brother 14's House and Twists?

Yea I think C5 are pushing for two a year now. Not that you can blame them, it's a ratings winner, and no doubt a money spinner.

They are killing it, ratings are showing that.

Except, it's not really. It's had no promotion, people will get fed up, and it all depends on the cast - and the more series they keep churning out, the worse the cast will get.

I really really really hope that the launch falls flat on it's arse, and the BB13 launch beats it.

Probably, they'll put all effort into changing the house for January and then for the summer series all that'll be different is the wallpaper. Making BB the spin off version like they want

Yes because likely some celebs may have already been approached and will be possibly clearing their calendars for that around that time.

Yes, when they negotiated this series with Endemol, it was announced as an additional series rather than them moving forward the one already planned.

at least some people agree with my utter dislike of CBB, with its Z-listers and 3 week run, which could have been used to lengthen BB13

Oh my god no. I can't think of anything worse. I enjoy the celeb shows but nowhere near as much as i enjoy the normal series.

Yeah, I thought about this last night. January's CBB will get the new house design because it would look a bit silly having the same one from September (which is the problem with having a CBB now) and then nothing much will change for BB14. Ridiculous.

I miss the days where the CBB house had minor changes made to it and the summer series was where we got a big overhaul.

BB13's launch got 3 million. Can't see CBB doing better.

What gives you that idea? They had two series of Big Brother last year and still reused the same house (with some changes) in January, before giving it a complete overhaul for this year's normal BB?
