If they did it was before my time. I'm 30 years old and have never heard of them. That song that's like "Gold!" that they played during the VT sounded familiar, but just vaguely.

Well my opinion with this being CBB UK would have to be Martin Kemp or Coleen Nolan,Julian all famous in Uk

I've heard of plenty of famous people from the 80's though. I've heard of Van Halen, and Motley Crue, and Bananara etc etc etc... i know tons of 80's celebs

Just cause we were kids, we are still aware of famous people from the 80's...

I've never heard of spando ballet though

They were big at the time. He played Reggie Kray in the film the Krays and Steve Owen in EastEnders. He is well known here.
