I remain puzzled about the appeal of The Occasional Table.

He doesn't seem to have ANY redeeming qualities whatsoever.

I don't give a toss whether he was a lap dancer, or not. I wouldn't pay any money to see him showing off his nasty six-pack or grinding his bits in my lap!
