I personally would think because Britain is such a small island (That's why i think it makes sense for Ireland to be one country) it would make more sense for it to be united as a single country, but i don't know about all of the intricate cultural and political issues involved. europe is sooooo ancient and most nations are pretty tiny compared to the US. Ireland united does seem like a nice goal. but but but, that would mean the north seperating from britain?

as for wales , scotland and england. they will never lose their individual identities. but to power share the running of the UK is the likeliest option

the scots want to 100% run their own country, the welsh dont mind theyre laid back, the english have 95% of the wealth so it doesnt bother them much.
the scots own north sea oil, theyre also one of the bets educated people in the world, producing endless geniuses and inventors. they also have a thriving techology market and tourism is generally good. their gdp is higher than northern ireland, wales and northern england.

there is distrust of english politicians in scotland and wales due to the shall we say troubled past between the nations. most recently the evil maggie thatcher, who sacked 1.3 miners in the space of a few months. welsh/northen english coal is the best in the world , period. it takes longer to burn. but thatcher closed them all down and flooded them all. she then destroyed all the industries in 9 years, steel, copper, slate, even lime

she was involved in the hillsborough cover up, where 96 football fans died unncessarily as a result of police corruption and incompetence. she supported the cover up as she always used the police against her own people.

she evcen garnered the nickname , maggie thatcher milk snatcher, as she told everyone there is no such thing as society and withdrew all the free milk for britains poorest childrens , who had previously been deemed to have calcium defficiences. this was her message to the people. youre all alone and society doesnt care. she then went on to privative the utilities, the water, gas, electricity, the railways etc so that the prices went sky high. she also introduced a compulsory house tax called the poll tax. this created th ebiggest riots in british history , she again used the police against their fellow country men to batter them, some died in the cause. she also increased the compulsory VAT tax to 17.5% which ultimately ruined the opportunity of the poor working class business person ever growing big. she was 100% in the pockets of the rupert murdochs of this world. his papers of course throughout this period had her backing, despite the endless slander, lies, illegal phone hacking, bribes and who knows what other corruption. his paper the sun wrote a pack of lies about the hillsborough disaster, that liverpool fans were all to blame, they were violent, drunk , they broke the barriers. all lies proved forensically to be all lies.

now his paper apologies 23 years later. during the past 23 years these papers, the police and some corrupt politicians, tried to smear these dead liverpool fans, to try and ensure the stink never reached their doorstep. well this week it has, as the extent of corruption was exposed
