It can be hard to mix into the forum, but i think you should continue to give it a go on here, as it is lovely, once you find some good friends!

Yes, i agree! Never give up. I found it hard in here before, but i'm happily settled now. I put people i don't like on ignore and just talk to the people i get on with.

I didn't even know there was an ignore feature until a few weeks ago

You can add people to your friends list without asking them if that's what you mean?

When you click to befriend someone you get this message:

You then untick the box if you don't want to ask them to add you and it just adds the member to your list, the member in question doesnt have to give permission.

Also, we havent let any members back/re-activated thier account, as far as we are aware atm Adele is not a multiple account.

For my first hundred or so posts I was constantly checking to see if anyone had commented, or taken offence at what I had said and I re-typed loads of posts before I posted them. Hehe. Ther have been a few times I have wanted to disagree with members but thought I had better keep my mouth shut. I felt like a nervous little kid, not someone n their 30s...ha. I am so sad!!

We're not always easy on n00bs but the ones who take it in good humour and don't get mortally offended are usually the ones that stick around.

I didnt do anything like that. If its a genuine error then so be it but I thought it was a bit strange that this was done and I know for a fact I didnt do it.

I know what you mean. I was a bit the same. It's hard to find your feet anywhere new. Some of the people I clashed badly with, took huge offence to and ended up putting on ignore, I adore now. You'll be fine, I reckon.

Thats what I meant with my last post, you wouldnt have had to do anything, if you are on Adeles friends list she could have put you there without you having to give permission.

It sort of took me a bit to fit in here. I used to argue with the whole forum basically. Long threads of arguing that never seemed to get locked lol But then I started chatting in the den and met Niamh and Jess and them lot and sort of mellowed.

I love new members, this forum needs some fresh meat drafted into it because some people seem to stick to their cliques here, would be nice to see some new members to converse with. All for it, but not for liars/trolls.
