That's the part I'm concerned about Arista.

Given her parents saying how loving she was: even if she and he are having a whale of a time living in some romantic fantasy mist - someone who gets on so well with their parents as we are led to believe she did - will be missing them, and knowing her parents will be at their wits end. She may be fearful of getting into bother and a lot of trouble: but as I said earlier: given the internet, given that UK papers are on stalls in streets all over Europe, I find it hard to believe that neither of them are aware the distress and worry being caused and that the parents have said "They don't care what she's done - just let them know she is ok".



The newspapers should be splashing the car registration all over the front pages in huge size - having it covered at the latter end of a story (as in the DM) isn't going to have the same effect.
