Harsh sentence, he deserved a punishment but this is a joke IMO when people who commit more serious offences either get less time or avoid jail altogether.

I guess they are going on the fact that he risked peoples safety and are using him to make a statement!

Surely it all relative. If others are getting lighter sentence then whats the point of making an example out of this person? He's hardly a threat to society so the sentence is undoubtedly too harsh.
