Cockroaches and kangaroo bum - check. Ant & Dec - check. Rainy November nights - check. The only thing we need now is a fresh batch of Z-listers and has-been celebrities and the 2012 series of I'm a Celebrity can begin.

Soap stars, glamour models, strippers, ageing comics, ex-sports stars and a couple of rogue oddballs are always the order of the day on I'm a Celeb and this year looks to be no exception, judging from the rumours and leaks about this year's lineup.

The rumoured lineup:

TOWIE star Maria Fowler has hinted that she's taking part.



Ex-MP Louise Mensch is rumoured to be heading Down Under.



Grace Jones would bring some surreal moments to the jungle.



Ryan Thomas may be the latest soap hunk to take part.



Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine have been tipped to revive their careers on the show.



Ex-EastEnders star Ricky Groves is apparently signed up.



Helen Flanagan may be flashing her curves in the famous jungle waterfall.



Darts legend Eric Bristow is strongly fancied to be entering the jungle.



Brigitte Nielsen is always linked to the jungle show year after year.



Stan Boardman missed out to Freddie Starr last year. Could he go in the jungle this time?



Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts would provide some eye candy on the show.



Georgia Salpa did Celebrity Big Brother. Would she do the jungle in the same year?



Katrina Darling may be a Z-lister, but she's apparently a producer target.



Hugo Taylor from Made in Chelsea has apparently signed up.



Cricketer Matthew 'Hoggy' Hoggard is a possible sports star taking part.



Could Rebecca Adlington go from Olympic gold to eating cockroaches in the jungle?



Comic Brian Conley may bring some titters around the campfire.

Well whilst Helen and Georgia will be worth a wank or two, Brian Conley might be funny and Trinny and Susannah could be interesting, this is quite a mediocre line-up.

The best part of the show has and always will be Ant and Dec's links anyway.

I think it all depends on their personalities and how they mix, on a whole, and as individuals. It does not matter really how famous they are. Of course, it helps if you're fiesty, like Grace.

I would rather have the Olympian Stars than the likes of the Towies and Made in Chelsea lot who do nothing really to earn the Celebrity title. The Olympians are probably just trying to supplement their income in any way they can to help them achieve what they want to do, so good on them. That said though, if that is the line up, then it doesn't excite me in the slightest, and I will probably give I'm a Celeb a miss this time round.
