I agree that the public overreact to most things, but threats of sexual and physical violence are not entertaining or good TV and the producers are only harming themselves by not dealing with it appropriately.
If they had removed him from the house, made him apologise to Deana, or even just given him a proper warning, they would have avoided this verdict.
If the producers want to enjoy the greater freedoms they have on Channel 5 they have to recognise and act on the more serious incidents. They failed to do this with Conor and now they've paid the price.
