A female vicar took my husband's funeral service. She was
wonderful, couldn't fault her at all. She made time with me to make it very personal and included everyone in the service, Christians, Jews, athiests... it was amazing how inclusive she made it. She was also very helpful and kind with my nieces and took the time to answer questions they had. Without disrespecting male vicars, I don't think a male would necessarily have handled it in the same way.
