I think our Planet is off limits to most alien races, we are probably in the middle of a quarantine zone. Most advanced races keep well away from us lest we contaminate them with our savage childlike behaviour.

One day we will advance enough to properly take our place in the galactic federation, until then lets get back to the action in the Gaza strip see how many more innocent people we can inadvertently blow to pieces....Humans eh !!! there's none like us...!!!

great post. love a bit of lateral thinking...so if england were the universe wed be the sort of slough? a bit unwanted and unloved....I like the idea we have to earn our stripes to get promoted to the galactic federation?
