theres no reason they shouldnt be, the question really is how comfortable are men in female dominated profesions? schools (theres less than 10% male teachers now in primary schools), customer service centres, nursing, fashion, social work, doctors surgeries, etc vastly female dominated. i recall my times in the banking secotr Id say it was at least 80% women. all the bawdy humour was from the women. the guys spoke more about general topics like sports politics , the women spoke far far far more about sex. It didnt offend me, though at times it did bore me.

overall though It was great fun but it was the total opposite to the alleged male dominated workplaces that supposedly prevail across the nation. this was over a decade ago. perhaps it worked ecause of the fact almost everyone had a sense of humour. saldy if it was the other way around id imagine a feminist would have taken offense and taken something out of context. if a woman says it its light hearted fun, if a man says the same thing its borderline sexist and hes a dinosaur. for the record I hate it when men pigeon hole women as slappers or treat them as there purely for sex, I dont want to hear any intimate sexual details thank you, but in truth I very rarely hear men speak like this.

But I assure you groups of women talking about their private sex lives with strangers is equally nauseating. sex and love making is intimate and whilst a laugh is fine, it can soon become crass.
