Default When you were at school...

Did you use chalkboard, whiteboard or interactive whiteboard ... or was it a bit of both/all three?

Primary school was about 50% interactive whiteboard 50% whiteboard

Secondary school has been about 10% whiteboard 90% look at the computer screen on a projector and take notes or something (I don't count that as interactive because it isn't)

All the way through primary school was chalkboards, but the past 5 years of high school has all been whiteboard + interactive whiteboard (there's one of each in every classroom).

Interactive whiteboards were added when I was in about year 5 of primary. Before then it was mainly whiteboards and sometimes chalk (with the older teachers)

Chalkboards (although they were called blackboards). Teachers used to loved throwing the wooden duster thing at us when we were talking etc. the most technical thing we had was an ohp!

In Primary School we had plain whiteboards till year 6 when smartboards suddenly appeared in every classroom after the summer. The teachers didn't use them loads but they were there.

We've had smartboards all the way through Secondary school/Sixth Form. The teachers use them all the time for powerpoints, videos and all that.

I would've voted all three but I've never been in a classroom with a blackboard before.

Up until 1st class was blackboards, then Whiteboards until 5th class, interactive in 6th.. In secondary most classrooms just have whiteboards and projectors, only about 5 rooms have the interactive boards. We don't really use boards anyway most of the time its powerpoints and notes etc.

Rude.... I went to grammar school and am neither stuck up nor a snob I'll have you know only joking ....I got a scholarship but there were plenty of those types there who had money so thought they were a cut above. To be honest though we had one of the biggest drug problems of the schools in the area as a lot of people had money so they bought drugs

Yeah, the ones with loads of money tend to feel superior and above everyone else. There's one grammar school near where I live and you see sixth form students driving to college in all these fancy cars and everything.
