They couldn't have changed it CBB11 to BB12 because the contract for CBB8 onwards wasn't signed till April, they couldn't change it CBB8 to BB12 or BB12 to CBB9 because there was only a few months and a few weeks gap respectively. The house was changed for BB13, they doubled the length of the living area and moved the bedroom outdoors.

The change for BB13 was crap... you could still make out where everything was from BB12. Compared to how much C4 changed the house it was lazy.

It was no more lazy than how much C4 changed BB9's to BB10's and BB10's to BB11's.

BB10 was the worst. I like the layout now but I hope for the summer they move the living area to where it was in like BB6 and BB10. The only thing BB10 got right.

The house looks nice at the moment. It's only bloody the celeb version that lasts a proxy few weeks. The layout and everything is all lovely and cosy. Roll on the housemates!

The bedroom was more or less in the same place just halved wasnt it and that secret blue room thing was the left over of the previous bedroom. They just changed the position of the door to next to the dining area.

BB9 to BB10 did have changes in layout though with the living room and then BB11 moved the kitchen/bathroom and BB9, BB10 , BB11 all had complete garden revamps.


That task room has also been used for years. That crypt twist was possible the worst ever as it was carried out lazily and the housemates knew they were there. It could have worked if they had taken them to say where the bedsit used to be and faked actual evictions but Channel 5 cant seem to pull off a good twist.They just dont seem as on the ball as Channel 4 used to be.

Yes but we are saying it hasnt changed drastically since BB9 layout wise but the changes channel 4 made it look like 2 complete seperate houses when you compare BB9 to BB11.

Channel 5 had the same ammount of time to change since CBB9 to BB13 as Channel 4 would have yet it looked pretty much identicle on tv.

BB13 was very lazy design wise.

May i finally add the new BB sofas are from DHS!!!!



And heres some recycled material from the CBB8 house (dont forget this is now CBB11).

Channel 5 can't exactly change the layout in a mater of a day for a Summer series of CBB from a regular series. The Layout of the House isn't even that important. Would you prefer there not be a House/Series?

You highlited the cbb9 reference in my post.

Anyway im not talking about the layout changed from BB13 to CBB10 that would be ridiculous however they had exactly the same ammount of time from January to BB13 to do a complete refurb as Channel 4 used to do but the changes were still just suttle again.

Im not complaining about nothing im just a massive fan of the show and think that BB is failing to create a unique series each year it just all looks the same and has seemed like its blended into 1 long series since CBB8.

If they are going to run so many series a year then i think its important they make each one (bar the summer CBB) look unique.

It also goes for the eye, the titles and the outside layout.

There is so much they could do with the space though. Just changing where the living area would create a huge change. Its all just lumped into that one large room now every year.

I dont know why so many people are arguing saying that there has been major changes. There hasnt and Channel 5 had more than enough time to completely revamp it for BB13.

I honestly think that it turns viewers away coz it feels like weve seen it all before.

A new design does have a positive affect on the viewing public because it feels fresh and new.

Recycling and a change of wallpaper is just a pisstake.
