Better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. By simply following the thread it is clear that Sam's statement is in reply to Hoe suggesting it would be out of order to level a woman. You seem so intent on arguing you are having a go without even checking if there is anything to argue about. The whole "I love conflict, drama is crucial nomatter the cost, look how fierce I am, I can belittle people" is wearisome. We get it, you admire nasty people because they bring some excitement to your life. Brilliant. You're clearly very cool and different.

The fact that it was in a football match is irrelevant. He intended to severely injure another human being and he did. He's an animal.

For him to judge anyone else is very hypocritical

I'd question how much he actually meant that and how much it was said in jest, but in any case it is a contact sport and such things do happen, Cole even said that himself and didn't hold a grudge about it. He may well have intended to go in harder on Cole because of how good a player he was, but that happens in every game at every level of football

I can't speak for him, only comment on what I view him saying.

I take my hat of to you, not for defending me, but for putting someone so firmly in their place with an air of eloquence never seen before on here. Dont worry about Daniel, I get him, he winds people up but I think its a game he plays and he is generally known for it. We just take it with a pinch of salt and move on to the real debaters that make the forum fun.

Of course you can, there's been some horrific leg injuries as part of mistimed tackles

This wasn't. As someone pointed out, he admitted it later. A right thug.

It's a show, its meant to mess with their heads, if they were all sat around drinking tea and making fried bread with butter and olive oil nobody would be watching. Anyone who gets so fired up by watching it that they advocate violence should find the off switch on their TV and use it.

I can't see them leaving tbh. They have said they are in it to win it and they will handle, and thrive, on the hostility I would imagine.

He admitted it was deliberate and the reason was because Andy Cole annoyed him. See: Outplayed him.

He went in hard on the tackle - he could not have known the result though. As MTVN said, it's a contact sport so unfortunately things happen. Not very sportsman like but many players have admitted similar. I am not condoning it by any means but he could not have known his actions would break both his legs.

How can anybody support Speidi, they are the worst people in there. I am American and I know their story from back in the days, they were tabloid fotter for many years and participated in other reality shows. They are terrible human beings and no one should be supporting these ill adjusted fame starved people.

They have ruined the show with their refusal to participate and is quite uncomfortable watching them bully Big Brother into gettingw hat they want. The show dynamic is completely messed up and people have to walk on eggshells around them so they dont get upset and threaten to leave.

I hope they left, disgusting people!

The problem with that is the refusal to participate is actually what normally makes the show, as it causes housemates to bicker, that's the whole point of the Big Brother experiment, put people in a house get them to do tasks, see what happens, some will follow blindly, others will stand back and say "wait a minute"

But, I guess people have forgotten that part.

Yeah, "I'm going to fling myself studs first into another players weakest part, don't know what's going to happen", it's like Vinnie Jones pulling Gazza's nuts down thinking "I wonder if this hurts" no wonder he cries so much. Or Mike Tyson, "I'll just rest my teeth here for a second on o'l Evanders ear, ooh actually I feel a bit peckish, he won't mind, he's got another one"

Well, on the bright side, at least it would mean I don't need to watch anymore, but I hope it isn't true, probably just Rylan trying to get some more airtime, as he can't do it unless he's talking...sorry, crying, whinging, moaning and bitching about them.

Not saying I am condoning or that it wasn't intentional (since he has admitted it) what I am saying is there were many factors determining the outcome, timing being one, point of contact another so slightly different from your examples. As I said unsportsmanlike and vicious and premeditated but the outcome was unknown until contact was made. Unlike Vinnie Jones and Mike Tyson who knew EXACTLY what would happen before they did it.

What I don't understand is why Rylan is the only one to stand up to them, thank goodness for Rylan,it would be a very boring CBB this year without him,he has made the show, and the Pratts know it,in their warped mind, they think they could win if Rylan wasn't there..
Watching their face when BB told them it was a prank, was priceless, they were fooled, and taken in for the fake people they truly are.

Yeah exactly, I think I'm right in saying that one of the breaks was due to an old injury of his as well
