The rule used to be "No outside contact", i.e WHATEVER ..... house exchange, day trips, coaching, visitors ..... except for emergencies .....

This latest inter-channel co-operative business deal blatently flouts what used to be a fundamental rule .....

For all we know, other HMs have similar "access" conditions written into their contract ..... ..... after all, they've got loads of time on their hands once they've recorded their HL clips .....
