Maybe a slight reality check , this is just a reality TV programme and everyone is playing a strategy to win viewers votes. Not everyone adopts the " I want everyone to love me" strategy. I don't take the programme seriously, at least no more than most career-propping shows; however, the people taking part are still human, albeit of the 'celeb' species, so a little consideration of this would not go amiss.

I appreciate your utmost respect and with the same generosity of spirit would like to tip you the wink regarding Spencer and Heidi's being brutally real and honest...I fear they may have misled you in this instance!

I think the non Celeb version of CBB ie BB which lasts for 10 weeks or more is truer test of ones character as it really does test all ones emotions to the limit. Not so much a quick 3 weeks with alcohol and party food delivered almost very other night...!!!

After they were allowed back in from the cold and accepted back into the HMs trust, when Heidi said they were 'humbled' by the other HMs and how wonderful they all were, then 1 day later said how awful they all were, remind me which was the brutally honest bit?? Speidi are truly digging their own grave and what's funny is how they say they were villainised by the reality tv programme they were in and how from that the public hated them and subsequently they lost everything.Now they are doing exactly the same thing ,which doesn't strike me as clever or well thought out, in fact it's pretty dumb to be honest. How will they ever win with such a doomed strategy?

I know right, but of course they are reality TV masterminds (despite admitting their lives got screwed by The Hills) Note they didnt start trotting out that old pony until they got totally humiliated in the fake interview task. It was their only possible way out with an ounce of dignity intact basically.

Yes, "it's a game" in the grand scheme of things but all the housemates are living in the BB bubble (well, possibly not Rylan if it's true about him leaving for X Factor rehearsals but that's an aside) and just because "it's a game" doesn't mean that people don't have feelings or miss their kids, families, etc.

I also find the "we never liked any of you" line a bit naff as Spencer and Heidi have changed their minds a million times about whether they like anyone or not. They are basically emotionally immature and like someone if they think they are liked in return and hate them as soon as something bad is said. That's not playing a great game, it's acting like a little brat!

I thought Big Brother used to be a kind of social experiment, with different people from all walks of life coming together under one roof, with the nation monitoring their actions and reactions. Now all anyone ever says is that it is 'just a game'. When did it stop being a social experiment and become purely a game? When did people stop being sentient beings and become so devoid of human emotion?

The OP is correct in all she says; Speidi are disgusting little creatures, spoiled to the core, arrogant, self-obsessed, insensitive, lazy, rude, immature, volatile, derranged, insecure, and quite frankly, a little bit psychotic.

It was so clear when the cover was pulled from beneath them by Big Brother in the recent internet task that they were mortified their true colours had been revealed. Heidi's crestfallen face said it all. However, they had to show united front and pretend it didn't affect them in the slightest, because God forbid they should show an ounce of emotive awareness.

Okay, I think Claire has gone overboard with the whole 'crying' thing, and moreover, I do believe it is only a few weeks in there, and that if you can't be separated from your kids for that period of time, then don't go in the house.

However, Speidi are just a disgusting excuse for so-called 'entertainment', who have not been brought up with any manners, etiquette, compassion or team spirit. They've so far dodged most of the tasks set by Big Brother, weakly somehow insinuating it could have an impact on their relationship (which can't be that strong from the outset if a couple of hours separation was refused), and furthermore, have seemingly been allowed to escape punishment, and virtually get away with murder (with the exception of the internet task). They expected to keep their basement room, and were outraged when Big Brother decided to pull it away from them, despite the fact it was clearly stated they would only go in there whilst things calmed down.

This couple are a let down to society, and I for one am glad they are not going to be integrated back into our society in the UK. Send them back to the USA, get someone to teach them some basic good manners, and never let them on another reality show. The biggest lesson they could learn in life is how to respect their fellow mankind, and how to learn from others' examples. Somehow, I fear they are beyond help.
