BB13 I adore that eye. Especially the version i have on the black background and it's all lit up.

It was a great eye, they didnt use up all the potential it had in terms of graphics or titles.

I agree with people saying UBB should have had a longer run and better cast.

They could have gotten some real favorites back instead of people like Ulrika, Preston, Coolio and Vanessa. Charley not being invited back was awful. Thank god they got Nikki and Makosi.

The fact they had no BB9 Housemates or BB10 Housemates, and decided to fill the show up with Celebrities and BB5 Housemates was a joke.

Just a complete joke. It was the final 3 weeks of Britain's Biggest TV Show and they decided to focus it on trying to rekindle a relationship that ended in 2006.

They seriously should of had 2 Housemates from every series on UBB, stuck it on all Summer, and it would of been utterly amazing.

I honestly think Brian would be a decent enough presenter if they toned his script down. And this may sound strange, but I always feel like presenting appears to come much more naturally, flow so much easier and seems a lot more personable and relaxed (which would suit Brian) if they don't hold a microphone in their hand and instead just have one positioned on their clothing instead leaving them hands-free. Kind of similar to how Dermot was on BBLB, Emma is on BOTS, Olly & Caroline on Xtra Factor, basically most indoor, quiet studios. Which I guess is the biggest problem when it comes to Big Brother - so perhaps they should take evictions inside a studio and keep the audience either to a minimum or quieter?

That does all sound strange but to me it always feels a lot more relaxed when a presenter can just stand and talk to you with their hands free, it's a lot less formal and I think that just means a presenter can be much freer. They still have to be a decent enough presenter of course. But Brian's naturally funny, he's just too constrained at the minute.

Rex and Marcus should have been there instead of Vanessa and Preston. Ulrika should have been replaced by Charlie (BB8).

oh lord, I was a mess this night... as awful as BB11 and UBB were, this show was really lovely, and a pretty fitting tribute.

The empty houses with the quotes omg

I still wish they'd had a proper all-series best bits like the one Rory made, though.

When Davina said "it's good to be back" on the BB6 launch night, oh. em. gee :'( :'(

Channel 4 big brother was (to most people) our entire childhood. Every series you've watched you can point out something that was going on in your life, this is why BB6 will always be my all time favourite, it was the year I left year 6 (2005) and lost/gained so many new friends who I still keep in touch with to this day (including overseas).

I had to keep rewinding Davina saying "It's good to be back" with Makosi in the background, from then I already knew that Makosi would be the greatest female housemate to ever be on big brother.. and I was right.

2005 >

you know what little thing irked me about this? The fact Brian couldn't even let Davina have the last words -.-

Quote:
Davina: I'm not going to say goodbye, I'm going to say... night night
Brian: Night night, good one.
God he's such a fanny.

But yeah, I do miss these days more than I'd admit to. Particularly around the BB5-7 era <3

Oh god, this makes me miss Davina SO much

I just realized how amazing the Final 3 of UBB was: Brian, Nikki, and Chantelle. Couldn't have been more pleased. Nikki and Chantelle were perhaps two of my all-time favorite housemates it was an incredibly fulfilling moment for me.

It's weird watching it back now knowing that is isn't really the end, it's so much hooplah for nothing haha. But I suppose it can be looked at moreso as the end of an era, which Davina even said in the opening segment.

C5 BB may not be the same as C4 BB, but let's not forget all the amazingly brilliant housemates and moments that C5 BB has given us. Without C5 BB, we would've never had the pleasure of watching such great dynamic characters like Aaron, Deana, Karissa & Kristina, Speidi, Caroline, Jasmine Lennard, etc. We wouldn't have been able to witness the epic-ness of BB13 and CBB9. It was different to get used to at first, but I a do truly love C5 BB and am so greatful they took it on.

Do you think we'll get something similar when BB ends on Channel 5?

BB13 may not have been perfect, but I feel that it's the closest series to a CH4 one we've had. Most of the Housemates which had been selected were amazing, it felt less gimmicky that BB12 and there was so much tension from the beginning. Definitely the series I would watch back in a few years.
