After a couple of years, people may realise they needed alliances, but I'd have no interest in an American BB over here. BB isn't a team sport. You should never win the game because you join the right gang on the first night.

But ultimately if you had two occasions where the whole house were up and four people in total left then that's more than enough opportunity for the public to get rid of who they want, surely? Of course under normal noms it may be the same people up each time and so a gang like Jay's would get their way but there'd still be no escaping the whole house being up, so at some point their reign would at least be threatened.
Alternatively they should chop and change when the housemates can talk about noms. I had no problem with them stopping it last year (well, I did), but I'd have had less of a problem had they brought it back a few weeks later. That'd perhaps work better, because it's great to watch, and then they could stop it for a couple of weeks to try and stop block voting, and then restart it again to see new plotting develop.
