I'm just watching it and I am literally sobbing my eyes out when the elderly maid gets fired.

How did this not win Best Movie at the Oscars?

i just watched this this afternoon

But it really isn't; Haichi, Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Notebook, Up were all sadder and thats just off of the top of my head

I didn't think it was the saddest movie ever StupidHoe. It was well made and entertaining, but as George Takei called it "white people solve racism"

The saddest film I ever seen was Grave of the Fireflies, it's truly heartbreaking.
