House Of Wax still made a ton of money, mostly for Paris being in it and her peak in my mind thus far was Repo. The Razzies are worthless because plenty of bigger stars gave woeful performances in arty movies but they picked on Paris...in a teen horror movie where she played a screaming college girl. Expecting an Oscar worthy performance? More fool the haters. She also won an MTV award for her part in House Of Wax if you want to play tit for tat.

Also...considering how small the release was for her album and singles she did well, far more critically acclaimed artists have done worse in the charts than #5 and people act like they're the second coming.

My original point though was that she didnt become famous for being an "actress" or a "singer". She found fame through being a Hilton and a mess

I'd say it was The Simple Life that brought her to most people's attention but you do have a valid point
