Spelling Niamh is no problem, but pronouncing is the hard part. In my head I always pronounce Niamh for some reason, Nigh-am-e, but it is pronounced completely different.

It's not hard, mh is prounced like a V lol People go on like that's the strangest rule ever but you have them in English too : Tough GH is pronounced like an F for example, except if it's Though GH just becomes silent, that's even more confusing, atleast in Irish MH is always pronounced as a V
