But if he's asked to comment on British music there's no point in him sugar coating it. It's just his opinion and he always likes to word things in a way so they're more entertaining.

As I said, they're more Stone Roses influenced and they had the piano from Imagine and a few odd lines here and there but that's it.

I notice that Oasis fans get rather touchy when someone makes the all-too-obvious Beatles comparison. Of course, calling it a tired argument doesn't mean it isn't true.
