There's some there, but they were very much their own band. Everyone recognised the Oasis sound as the whole Beatles comparison was years ago when they were saying they wanted to be bigger than The Beatles and all that. There will never be another band that made in impact Oasis did to youth culture. Arctic Monkey's have come the closest. And I'm not being touchy, just realistic
