Moffet's done a great job with the series, Russell T Davies was fun but he constantly relied on the same tropes and deux ex machinas. Remember when the Daleks were behind nearly all the plots?

Series 1 - Resurrection of the Daleks
Series 2 - The Daleks coming through the portal to take over. Series 4 - The Daleks are resurrected again by what's his face to destroy Reality. Three out of four of RTD's series relied on pretty much the same damn story. Never mind the fact that RTD relied on merely repeating phrases over and over to create an illusion of a story arc in each season (Bad Wolf, Torchwood, Harold Saxon, The Bees disappearing/Medusa Cascade). Moffat created actual arcs that aren't reliant on the godamn Daleks making an appearance at the end of nearly every series. |

I meant series plots as a whole, that much was pretty obvious. They were the big bads in three out of four seasons, you cannot say that isn't repetitive.
