Need a lot more than Fellaini lol. Don't fear we might play hoof ball to him?

Yes, he's had better players. But look at Martinez at Wigan. Great style of play with a bunch of shat players. Heard a lot of Everton fans after the cup exit mention they're not fans of Moyes' style of play.

He's done a good job at Everton. It's just, it's totally different at a higher level. Only UEFA Cup experience.

Agree, Jack. Except I have a first choice. Mourinho. Long been rumoured that he'd stay at United for longer than he has at other places. Even if he stays 3 seasons. If he brings success both domestically and in Europe I'd be chuffed.

Wouldn't be surprised if The Glazers are fans of Moyes as they'll never get trouble out of him. Have seen some deem him a yes man.

Mourinho would be a much better choice than Moyes. Not sure on Fellaini, there are much better options available.

Miles better than Moyes. I fear about who we'd sign with Moyes in charge. Nobody will of heard of him abroad really. Whereas with Jose, tremendous pulling power.

Jose is so tempermental though. Moyes might be okay, be interesting to see if he can win anything..lets face it whoever comes in won't get very long before they need to start showing results so...anyway it could be worse as least no one has mentioned 'Arry.

But he's a fantastic manager above all. The type that, going into a tough European tie you'd feel confident in him as your manager. With Moyes, no such confidence.

'arry has had a better career than Moyes so far. Actually has European experience also. Not saying I want him though, xD.

Don't get me wrong I would love Jose! At the very least I want him back in the PL.

I'm not playing for Manchester United because even though i'm involved in football, I've never heard of David Moyes.

Lmao! You think a player's decision isn't partly based on a manager then? Guess Zaha didn't join United partly due to Sir Alex then.

Not when it come's to a club like Manchester United no, I think most players in the World would jump at the opportunity to play for them.

Disagree tbh. I think if Fergie had said, 'I'm having one more season' that would of effected who we'd sign this summer. I think managers play a huge roll.

Edit: I just remembered Jack, Sven Bender at Dortmund looks a good player.

We don't need "alot more" than him though. If we get him We have a midfielder who will take no ****s and bully people. Would give Carrick's legs a break. Now a midfielder who can thread a killer ball to really relieve the pressure off Carrick and we are set imo.

As for the Glazers, I actually credit them. They could easily of gone for the big name to boost the brand, but they have trusted Fergie's word and have attempted to think long term. Highly doubt it's a case of wanting a yes man.

Fellaini wouldn't be allowed to use his arms like he does in Europe. As Drew said, he's a hot head. In Europe, you can barely do an 'effin thing nowadays.

I've always admired Carrick and I'm delighted this season he has been highlighted as a much needed player in our team. Kagawa has showed glimpses but I'm convinced his future is out wide- he has hardly set the league alight down the middle. Cleverley is one to keep an eye on, next season he must start to show his worth otherwise he could end up being similar to Gibson. Scholes is gone, not getting games and I can't see him here next season. Giggs can't perform week in week out because of his age but still produces great displays. Jones isn't really one for going forward, will be an excellent CB. Anderson needs to go, 6 seasons and he really hasn't done a lot. We've really missed Fletch, but it's unlikely he'll play again. When you look at this, what does Fellaini add that is so outstanding? He isn't the type of world class player we need at the moment. The display against Chelsea shows how weak our midfield is without Carrick.
I don't think we have many other performers anyway in midfield. Cleverley offers nothing really for me. This guy just passes it short. Did sweet FA against Chelsea and some thought he did well. If well is making 2-3 noteworthy passes each game then deary me.
Anderson is just fat, inconsistent and injury prone.

Cleverley is 23, next season will be the real test. If he doesn't show his worth next season he is another name added to the list of deadwood and he'll end up at Stoke or something. I think his performance against Chelsea was a bit lacklustre, didn't really notice him. The whole team took their foot of the pedal and it showed. As I say, I'd give him one more season to prove himself. Agree about Anderson, hardly ever plays and when he does he doesn't do a lot.

He's no Scholes that's for certain. Who do you want us to sign in midfield, if not Fellaini?

I'd like a ballwinner and a playmaker. The former I'm not so sure. Strootman has been heavily, heavily linked but I haven't seen a whole lot of him. Saw him a bit at the weekend and had some nice touches, set up a nice move but I obviously can't base it on that.
In terms of a playmaker. The dream is Ilkay Gundogan ()at Dortmund. Christian Eriksen is leaving Ajax this summer, in the last year of his deal so will be going cheaper than you'd expect for someone with his talent. Also a fan of Joao Moutinho. I'd be chuffed with any of those three, especially the first two.

Not sure I saw that Drew. Even so, if he said that then ROFL if this is him improving. No idea what Woy sees in him. That said, Woy thinks Ashley Young is England's best winger.

I haven't seen that, if that's true he hasn't really lived up to expectations. If we get Gungodan or Eriksen he won't play anyway

Alex Ferguson only had Cup winners cup experience before he came to Manchester United, Mourinho or anyone for that matter never had champions league experience until they managed in that competition, it's not that superior a competition it's still just a game of football.

Fergie broke the stranglehold between Celtic and Rangers.

Imo, it's vastly superior. Where is a team as good as Bayern, Dortmund or Barcelona in our league to come up against? Dread to think what they'd do to us with Moyes.
